MENTORS!

Eric Wooten is the President and co-founder of Altared Marriage, an organization dedicated to strengthening relationships. He holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is an author, podcaster, blogger and creates weekly content on his Youtube channel, Relationshots.

Jill is the co-founder and brains behind Altared Marriage. Putting up with Eric for thirty-one years, she provides the world with living proof that “you too can do anything!” She is the director of marketing and social media, so basically she’s the only reason you have found us and are reading this. She is passionate about keeping marriages together and loves mentoring couples.

Eric and Jill have been working with couples for more than a decade and have a passion to help couples build strong, healthy relationships through great communication!

No. This experience is exclusively for married couples.

No. A marriage getaway should be an escape from the routine and distractions of normal family life.

The sessions will depend on the specific Marriage Experience you attend but will focus on a number of areas such as understanding our differences, healing from hurts and forgiveness, managing conflict, increasing intimacy, strengthening communication, discovering your relationship rhythm and more.

No. The cost of the Altared Marriage Experience DOES NOT include airfare. The nearest airport is Cancun International Airport and the airport code is “CUN”

We will be staying at a private, all-inclusive resort. Location depends on experience you attend. Resort details given at registration.

Yes! A valid passport is usually required for travel to our Marriage Experience locations. Check travel requirements for the specific location you will be attending.

We can provide pricing for additional days upon request, depending on resort availability.

–The $600 deposit is non-refundable.

-If you cancel MORE THAN 180 days prior to arrival date, the $600 deposit is non-refundable, but any other payments you have made WILL BE refunded.

-For cancellations 150-180 days prior to arrival date, the $600 deposit plus 25% of Marriage Experience cost will not be refunded. Any additional payments will be refunded.

-Cancellations less than 120 days prior to arrival date will generate a charge equivalent to 60% of the Marriage Experience. Any additional payments will be refunded.

You can pay in full at time of registration. If making payments the schedule is as follows: $600 deposit required at registration.

-Additional payments will be made according to the specific payment schedule of the Marriage Experience you choose to attend and the time frame in which you register.

No. This is meant to be an immersive and inclusive experience so all couples must stay at the Experience resort.
